Forest Music was written as a response to the intense feeling of urban isolation, and the increasing disassociation from the environment that the 21st Century life entails.
It was created as an imagined journey into nature, away from the city, and into the greenness of the forest. Perhaps, also, it’s an escape from the reality of day-to-day chaos.
The album makes reference to the Japanese concept of shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, an ancient practice which encourages therapeutic relaxation in a natural environment, and mindful appreciation of nature.

Bandcamp Reviews
”This is not just one of my favorite ambient, or neo-classical albums of 2025, it's one of the absolute best in any genre, period. Favorite track(s): the two album closers - Well Now, and the final track, Rain. I'm quite confident I won't hear a more beautiful album this year. The cd has not left my player for a couple of days. Just a stunning release.”
“Really visual music and such stunning melodies. Sunlight Through Trees is one of the best new classical compositions I've heard for ages. A beautiful album.”
